We refer to an advertisement in an article that was published on our website on 25 July 2020. We note that such article made reference to SmileDirectClub. We withdraw any such reference to SmileDirectClub and regret any negative connotation about SmileDirectClub that arises from that reference. In particular, we apologise for any inference treatment using SmileDirectClub’s aligners and teledentistry platform poses any greater risk than analogous treatment by in-person orthodontia, including Invisalign. We acknowledge that uSmile Dental is unaware of any proper basis for making such a statement and withdraw any such reference immediately and without reservation.
